Nordic Skiing Breckenridge - Click to Enlarge In the afternoon we decided to try Nordic Skiing at the Breckenridge Ski Center. It cost us $58 for ski and boot hire. It was quite scenic around the center but unfortunately there was a gondola running right through the middle of the center , so it wasn't very peaceful. Nordic Skiing Breckenridge - Click to Enlarge

Nordic Skiing Breckenridge - Click to Enlarge Even though it was very cold we soon warmed up doing the x-country skiing, neither of us were that good at it, and found going down the steeper hills very hard. I fell over and almost twisted my ankle on the upper part of the trail, so we turned around at this point and headed back to the ski center. Nordic Skiing Breckenridge - Click to Enlarge

We stopped off at the Walmart at frisco and bought a pre-pay mobile phone for just $15, which was very handy for the rest of the holiday. We ate at Po'Boys Cajun restaurant in Frisco the food was hot and spicy and very tasty. Nordic Skiing Breckenridge - Click to Enlarge
