Day 3 - Breckenridge
We caught the the town shuttle bus from a stop 20m from where we were staying, to the bottom of Beaver Run. Where we collected our ski pass's which I had booked via the internet from World Ski , got a very good price for the tickets which worked out cheaper than buying direct from Breckenridge ski resort. We then put our ski's on and skied carefully down the hill to the Village. It was very cold, and there was enough snow falling that my sun glass's were letting snow into my eyes, that I realized that I needed to buy a pair of Goggles. So I bought some from a shop in the Village, and while I was there I also bought a Helmet to keep my head warm. We collected our Ski Lesson Vouchers from the Breckenridge Ski and Ride School office in the Village.

We walked up to the meeting place for the lessons and joined a level 3 group, which was for learners moving to parallel turns on green slopes. As we had been able to ski down to the meeting place without too much trouble.

It was snowing all the time we were out on the slopes. At lunch time we went and had a burger and fires at a burger place called the Breck Burger Bar in the village area which was great and very filling. Click to Enlarge

At the end of our lessons we caught a bus back to our condo, as our rental boots were quite uncomfortable we decided to upgrade to the Performance rental package at Blue River sports. We then headed back to the condo and used the outdoor hot tub while it was still snowing which was nice. I nipped out to the city market and bought some food, and we had soup in the condo. We found a humidifier in a cupboard, so we filled it up and turned it on, which made the room less dry. Click to Enlarge
