Frisco Lodge, Frisco, Coloardo - Click to Enlarge Frisco Lodge, Frisco, Coloardo - Click to Enlarge Woke up to a sunny day, had a good breakfast at the Motel and then drove over to Breckenridge intending to ride the Wheelers & Miner Creek Trails, but when I got to Breckenridge there was a very cold strong wind blowing, so I revised my plans as I didn't fancy doing a ride above the tree line in a strong wind.

Instead I decided to the the Middle & North Fork trail ride instead, as I'd enjoyed the section of the Colorado trail I'd ridden the day before and was up for more. The trail started at the Gold Hill trail head and then headed up Tiger road, past an old dredger. Tiger Road en route to Colorado Trail, Frisco - Click to Enlarge

Click to Enlarge On the drive back to Grand Junction, I finished off the last of my Cosmos Caramel corn which we'd bought back in Oregon at Blue river. We'd never seen it before in other states and it was very tasty. I stopped at Vail to see if I could get any bargains from the bike shops there but they were all closed, so instead I bought a couple of stone bears from the rock shop there. Click to Enlarge
