As can be seen in the pictures above there was quite a lot of snow up in the mountains, and it was snowing hard up around the eisenhower tunnel, but luckily for me the tunnel was open.

It was cold down in Denver so I had to stop and put some trousers on for the fist time on the holiday along with a fleece. I drove straight towards the airport and stopped off at the Northfield shopping centre to kill time as it was close to the airport. I bought a hot chocolate and danish from borders, then got my self another drink from a Starbucks inside the target and headed to the airport.

On the way to the airport I filled my car right up at a garage here - aurora 3670 chambers rd. As the gas at the airport is very expensive.

I then went and parked in the short term car parking and checked in 3 hrs before my flight was due to leave. At the time of booking the women said they had given me a better seat.

I then stopped at the airport garage to clean rubbish out of the car, and then dropped it off at the Alamo depot, doing it this way is so much easier than having to drag your luggage onto the rental bus.

I got through airport security without any problems, and then bought my self a meal at the panda express, before finding a power point to power my laptop , and I watched some films on it.

Back in the UK I was picked up by a taxi I had pre-booked and taken home, it was actually sunny and warm at home which was a surprise. I unpacked my bike and then went out for a ride, as you can see from the pictures its much greener in England than the places I had been riding on my holiday.
