Colorado

Holiday Fall 2003

Inspired by an old copy of Bike magazine from July 98, which had a great article on the Mountain Biking in Colorado, we decided to try Mountain Biking in Colorado.

Before we flew out I planned a rough itinerary and booked up our first and last Hotels for the Trip.

We booked a direct flight to Denver with British Airways, and car hire with Budget.

The riding in Colorado was fantastic and we were very lucky with the weather, never having a day where we got rained out, just fantastic clear crisp blue sky days.

We did a fair bit of driving to get to the different places where we rode, and drove about 1700 miles in total. But we were able to turn some of the longer drives into adventure's in them selves by driving on dirt roads over the mountain pass's.
