One of our guide books described a route that sounded great, that is used each year as a stage in the King of the Rockies race series, so we decided to head over to Fraser to do it. Tipperary Creek MTB trail ride
Tipperary Creek MTB trail ride We drove down to Fraser and parked up just past the Rodeo arena to ride the Tipperary Creek trail which was 38 miles in distance, including the ride back to the suv. We headed along the Givelo Trail, and then along CR50. Tipperary Creek MTB trail ride
Tipperary Creek MTB trail ride We then connected onto The Tpperary trail a two track climb through pines, aspen and lush meadows. It was a cold but sunny day, the trail was great. Lots of variety , plenty of ups and downs and great views. Tipperary Creek MTB trail ride

Tipperary Creek MTB trail ride We didn't see any one else at all whilst out doing this ride. The route was made up of many other trails, and eventually ended up back at the Winter park resort. Tipperary Creek MTB trail ride

Clare headed back to the Hotel and I rode back to fraser along a cycle path to get the SUV.

The route consisted of the following trails, Tipparary -> Spruce Creek -> Flume -> Chainsaw -> Elk MEadow -> D2 -> WTB -> D4 -> Vasquez Rd -> Blue Sky -> Ice Hill -> Lower Cherokee -> Tunnel Hill ->Long Trail - and then a ride back along paved cycle paths.

In the evening we drove back down to Fraser and did some shopping, and had dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Carlos & Maria's which had pretty good food.
