We got up very early in the morning and set off driving to Yellowstone NP in Wyoming. In total we drove 560 miles to get there. Click ro Enlarge

Click to Enlarge We almost ran out of petrol on a long empty stretch of road before Lander, but luckily for us we came across a really old small gas station in the middle of nowhere. We stopped for lunch in Lander at a Subway before we carried on crossing the Continental Divide and arriving at the Grand Tetons NP. Click to Enlarge

Click to Enlarge We arrived at Grant Village, and checked into our accommodation. As the lodging is all run by the same company Xanterra which has a monopoly and the lodging is all very basic and over priced. We then went for a walk by the Lake. And as we had not pre-booked a restaurant we ate some snacks in our room. Click to Enlarge
