Click to Enlarge We decided to visit the Everglades NP today. We drove north back up the 1 to Homestead. The first place we stopped at was Royal Palm, where we walked around the Anhinga & Gumbo Limbo trails. Click to Enlarge

Click to Enlarge There was loads of wildlife to see as we walked along, lots of birds, fish, turtles and alligators. There was a nice breeze blowing which helped keep away mosquito's. Click to Enlarge

Click to Enlarge The next place we stopped at was Mahoney Hammock, where the trail went out to one of the few raised areas in the park. There were more mosquitoes around here so we didn't hang around too long here. Click to Enlarge

Click to Enlarge Eventually we arrived at the end of the park road at Flamingo. We stopped here and walked along some of the trails, at one spot there were swarms of butterflies everywhere. Click to Enlarge
Click to Enlarge In the evening we ate at the Encore fish house again as the food was so good the night before. The food was great again, we then went for a walk down to the Hotels beach. Click to Enlarge
